Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began by releasing a humorous rap track dealing with issues related to sexuality and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood when she dropped an album of raps. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument.
